Easter Feasting

Easter Feasting

Woohoo! It’s everyone’s second favourite Christian holiday — Easter!

A time to celebrate resurrection, chocolate eggs (somehow), and the glory of a double bank holiday. Most importantly, it’s a chance to gather with loved ones and feast. And if we’re feasting, then something beautiful — something worthy of centre stage — must grace the table.

Luckily, dear reader, we’ve got you covered with a collection of our favourite cuts for the occasion.

To kick things off, may we suggest a special for Easter weekend: our Wild Garlic Porchetta. Roasted in a tray surrounded by cubed potatoes, be sure to nail the crackling. A bowl of salsa verde feels essential, and for a true Roman finish, add a pan of vignarola or a big pot of greens cooked in the holy trinity of garlic, anchovy, and chilli. Buon appetito.

More Easter Inspiration: Italian Feasting Cuts to Impress

Staying with the Italian theme, a Whole Beef Shin on the Bone slow-roasted with soffritto, white wine, and tomatoes, then served atop buttery Parmesan polenta, makes for a feast of biblical proportions.

And if you’re still on the Italian train, why not finish strong with a Florentine-style T-bone Steak — grilled over coals and served rare, just as they do it in Tuscany. Add a rocket and parmesan salad on the side, and you’re golden.
