Swaledale Butchers® is based in Skipton, and proud to supply restaurants with the best of what’s farmed on the Yorkshire Dales.

Swaledale is committed to supporting independent farmers, promoting heritage breed livestock and native game, and supplying restaurants in London, Leeds & Manchester with the finest produce farmed deep in The Dales.

We take immense pride in our whole-carcass, nose-to-tail butchery philosophy; artisan seam butchery is an expert skill and it takes time and precision to separate each individual muscle group, but the results are so worth it. 

Our Chef customers have the same passion for heritage breed meat as we do; they understand that the distinctive flavour and superior texture of our grass-fed, dry-aged native breed meat is unparalleled, it really gives their restaurants the wow factor.

Swaledale meat is Always Fresh Never Frozen®, butchered to order, vacuum packed, and shipped in recyclable packaging to arrive safely insulated and ready to enjoy.

Our extensive product range includes dry-aged beef, pork, lamb and mutton, poultry, venison, and other game, available seasonally. Additionally, we are producers of award-winning artisan sausages and bacon.

Swaledale is primarily a wholesale business, and we make trade deliveries to London, Leeds & Manchester three times a week. 

  • London: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
  • Leeds & Manchester: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
