Our Meat Boxes are an expertly curated selection of Swaledale produce, and bring together the best of what's seasonably available here in The Dales. Meat Boxes may include grass-fed, dry-aged on the bone >28 days beef, outdoor reared native breed pork, Yorkshire's tastiest pasture-fed lamb, free range chicken, Harewood Estate's wild park-reared venison and award-winning sausages and bacon.
Swaledale Online Butchers works with a community of around 30 local, independent, family-run farms and smallholdings, all of whom choose to rear hardy, native breeds, and purposefully weave livestock into their environmental and regenerative farming practices. Purchasing and consuming native breed meat directly supports the conservation efforts of small farmers, and our meat boxes showcase produce that spans the spectrum of sustainable farming in the Yorkshire Dales.
